Yummy Mud Cake recipe

I came to Australia 6 years ago from Spain, and I have to admit, that as a good Spanish person, I like the serrano and the paella (we will all have our weaknesses)

Among all the cakes, there is one that I never miss the opportunity to eat. The Mud Cake.

All those the chocolate loving people understand why.

The mud cake, is a chocolate cake, that's very dense, very wet and especially sweet.

Here in Australia it's the most favorite of alot of people and the favorite for cake decorators because it's perfect for carving and making 3D cakes.

The mud cake can have many diffrent flavours, dark chocolate, white chocolate, caramel, red velvet, mocha…… but here today i show you the chocolate mud cake recipe. My favorite.

In trying to find the perfect recipe (I look for more than 3 years without much success) I finally ask in the forums of Australian Cake Decorating Network, where you have wonderful cake decorators always willing to lend a hand when you need, one of them told me to try the recipe from Exclusively Food web page.

Now the funny thing is here is, I had this perfect recipe for all those years, stored in my web browser all this time and I never once did I try to make this recipe!!!!!!

Yes…. I know…. For those who don’t know me, sometimes im a little or alot scatterbrained. Just ask my husband and see the look on his face.

So… after trying this recipe, and liking it so much I have stopped looking for more recipes, as I know this one always works perfectly for me.

The original recipe is from Exclusively Food, but I have added a couple of touches. You can see the list is large but, don’t be scared, really you only have 3 parts to mix in the recipe.
